UX Case Studies
Formally from a Graphic Design background (Dawson College), and having run my own photography business for several years, I even worked my way up a customer service retail job to assistant manager to help pay the bills while freelancing.
Not satisfied, I enrolled in a Front End Web Development bootcamp (Concordia University) and quickly realized it wasn't for me. During the final class project, I fell in love with the UX and UI design aspects of creating a marketplace project.
After completing the bootcamp, I pursued UX Design, which was still a new concept to me. I stumbled upon the Interaction Design Foundation where I completed the stream in UX Design consisting of 10 courses over several months. I found it very natural, comfortable, and dare I say "easy". It felt like a "right fit" from the start as it incorporated many of my past experiences - understanding both the user's and company's needs, as well as having developed exceptional people skills.
My UX Design skills include empathizing in user-centred design, defining problems, ideating solutions, prototyping and wireframes, and user testings.
I surf, I love motorcycles and dirt bikes, and my wife Paulina and dog Jagger mean the world to me.
